BMI doesn't tell us much about...Agree with you. BMI doesn't tell us much about a body's composition, and therefore its correlation with parameters of health is less than ideal. But it's AHA which classified BMI as a behavioral parameter. I agree with them to some degree. BMI is a surrogate for calorie imbalance (too much intake, too little output) in most cases.
